ELI @ NYSAWA - our professional development initiative
The New York State Association for Women in Administration (NYSAWA) is pleased to provide a unique professional development initiative. NYSAWA is partnered with the Educational Leadership Institute (ELI) to enhance and expand professional development opportunities in support of educational administrators and school district officials across New York State.
The Educational Leadership Institute (ELI) was established in 2008 for educational leaders to enhance their knowledge through high quality programs, workshops, and conferences. ELI @ NYSAWA has embraced and expanded these programs, workshops, and conferences over the past several years. ELI @ NYSAWA is a statewide provider of high quality professional development programs serving the PreK-12 academic community. The efforts of ELI @ NYSAWA focuses on contemporary issues affecting the policies and practices of PreK-12 educational institutions, including their implications for strategic planning, organizational development, and leadership decision-making. Programs will be offered at statewide locations.
James (Jim) M. Merrins, Ed.D. is the Executive Program Administrator of ELI @ NYSAWA. We look for NYSAWA members for support and participation as we grow this effort.
