Educators and educational leaders are invited to a forum of learning, inspiration and calls to action during the NYSAWA Leading Forward gathering–happening July 11 and 12, 2023 at the Woodcliff Hotel and Spa in Fairport, NY.
The conference will open with a keynote address from the honorable Commissioner of Education and President of the State University of New York, Betty Rosa. Rosa is no stranger to working up the leadership ladder, going from paraprofessional to the first Latina to serve at the helm of the state’s Education Department.
In addition to Rosa, attendees will also hear from a diverse group of strong women leaders:
- Shanai Lee, Rochester Education Fellow
- Dr. Barbara Mullen, Superintendent, Rush-Henrietta Central School District
- Dr. Vicma Ramos, District Superintendent, Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES
- Lynda Quick, Esq., Superintendent, Wheatland-Chili Central School District
